    Absolutely horrendous!!!!! They have lost several pieces of important paper work regarding lease info and billing info, have charged hundreds of dollars over CORPORATE'S slow moving pace with pet fees and approvals, do not allow any type of outside Christmas holiday decorations as a concern for the snow plows...???? Rude and unorganized. Regretting moving here and it has only been a few months. This is only a small portion of issues this establishment has provided. HATE IT. And to think they try to save their name by saying that these accusations from not only myself but other reviews are not correct - instead of trying to fix their own issues. I'm sure the issues will keep piling up with this company....

    Be prepared for erroneous fees deducted from your security deposit when you move out! My wife and I were surprised when we received our security deposit check with several small random "wear and tear" charges deducted from the total. Really annoyed because we tried to avoid this by requesting a walkthrough on the Saturday before the Monday our lease was up, but we were told no one was available on Saturday – despite the fact the office is open. The rental office wanted us to do our walkthrough on Monday, in the middle of the afternoon, on a workday where my wife and I work 9-5 jobs – that didn’t work for us. However we were assured that a walkthrough wasn’t needed, and if there were any issues, they would call us. I figured this would be fine, and I would just take photos since there was no damage of anything and our experience with the office had been good. Well when I called to question the security deposit and ask for their documentation for the charges, Carla the Property Manager said they don’t share that and if I would like to dispute the charges, I could take them to court and present evidence to dispute their claims. Thankfully I had photos to back my claims. I considered legal options, but realized in the end it wasn’t worth it. Even though the accumulated total for all the charges was a significant cost to my wife and I, it still was less than what it would cost to go to court over. Judging by Carla’s response, it seems Redwood knows this, almost like this is a business tactic for Redwood to make a few extra bucks off of their tenants who are moving out. If they truly thought the costs were justified, why didn’t they call us like they said they would, or share the photos? Needless to say, we were really disappointed by the treatment we received by Carla and Redwood. Upsetting because my wife and I enjoyed living there (only complaint was they didn’t plow driveway and streets very often). Nice apartments and community, and I would have rated them higher, but I thought the whole “extra” charges were petty and shady, and I did not appreciate the response from Redwood, especially since they weren’t willing to share documentation unless I took them to court.
